Purple Light of Hope (Shoots for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month) #5

Dan Reed, accomplished solo musician and singer, and frontman with Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hit band Dan Reed Network, poses for this portrait in the Purple Light of Hope to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer.

This image, a collaboration between an American musician and a Scottish photographer, is symbolic of the international collaberations underway to raise pancreatic cancer awareness as reduction of risks and recognition of symptoms are vital to the early diagnosis needed for improved outcome. The United States' National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and Scotlands's Pancreatic Cancer Scotland are just two of the many charities and organisations that form the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition who work #together and collaborate on strategies to #demandBetter for patients.
