The Purple Light of Hope needs to shine on the begining of the ride and make it start faster: although starting pancreatic cancer treatment within 20 days of the diagnosis greatly improves the outcome, only 1 in 20 patients actually start their treatment this quickly in the UK.

Through methods such as petitioning for better treatment, awareness roadshows to drive down the numbers and distrubuting pancreatic cancer educational updates to GPs and community pharmacists, UK charities are all working towards improving this, and you can help too. Links below.
